'Confidence In God'

"Your words will be tested, and what you believe will be tested". Darren starts with these challenging and intruiging words.

Speaking from Ephesians 3, Darren asks us if we truly know our access to the throne room of God. Are we dwelling there or are we dipping in and out of our inheritance? Do we have boldness and confidence in God? Do we understand who we are in Him and that He has chosen us to represent Him to the world around us?

What do we do when our confidence is challenged? How do we respond when our faith is tried and tested?

The integrity of a chair must be tested before weight can be put on it. It is not released for sale until tests show that it is ready to fulfil its task. There are days coming that God is preparing His saints for, and He's testing them. Has has something amazing planned, and He needs His church to be involved in that. God is asking "Have I got men, have I got women whom I an put weight on? Have I got men and women who are strong enough in me to stand?".

Darren exhorts us to be confident in God, to allow the word of God to grow in our lives and to let Him take us to the next level. We need to believe what God says in His word, and as we build our lives on it He will be proved true. If we do not believe, we make Him out to be a liar.

"Anyone who believes in the Son of God has this testimony in his heart. Anyone who does not believe God has made him out to be a liar, because he has not believed the testimony God has given about his Son." - 1 John 5:10

As he did in the garden of Eden, the enemy will say "Did God really say?". He will challenge the authority of scripture. He will attempt to replace God's word with lies. We must never fall for this trick, but we must bring our lives underneath the power and the authority of the word of God.

Allow God's word to take the highest position in your life. Have confidence in Jesus who is the living word. Hold the testimony of Jesus in your heart, and live wholeheartedly in Him with boldness and confidence.
