NETS Celebration Sermon 'Slay Your Giants'

Jill gives an inspiring message to NETS trainees as they go out from Pierrepont, exhorting and encouraging them to 'slay their giants'. Jill believes that its time for those who think they are the most unlikely to stand up and raise their voice in the world. The world is desperately in need of Godly leaders, followers and disciples of Jesus Christ to raise their voices and declare out the message of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

When it comes to the obstacles and giants that we will surely have to face, we can take great courage from the story of David & Goliath. Whether David was aware of it or not, God had been preparing David for the task ahead as he looked after his sheep in the wilderness. David rose to the challenge and without fear, he defeated Goliath, stunning both the nation of Israel and the Philistines with his faith and his courage.
