Who teaches on NETS?
NETS is taught by a variety of teachers from all different countries, backgrounds and ministries. Every NETS is different because we have to work around the busy timetables of some of our guest speakers! The majority of teaching on NETS is brought by those who are involved with Ellel Ministries across the world but we are also delighted to be constantly enriching NETS by welcoming guest speakers such as:
Alistair Petrie (Partnership Ministries), George Otis Jr. (Sentinel Group), Jim Graham (Gold Hill Baptist Church), J Lee Grady (The Mordecai Project), George Verwer (Operation Mobilisation), Jan Ransom (Flame International), Ken Symington (Christian Restoration in Ireland), Michael Puffett (Jubilee Church), and many more.
Here are short bio's for some of our more regular teachers on NETS, and those that you might not have heard of:
Peter Horrobin. Peter is the Founder and International Director of Ellel Ministries. His cutting edge teaching and compassion for the hurting have been at the heart of Ellel’s ministry throughout its 25+ years of development. He is the author of numerous books, most notably 'Healing Through Deliverance' and 'Living the Life'. He has recently set up Ellel 365 - a lifechanging online training school. To find out more go to www.em365.org. Peter was the man whom God gave the vision for Pierrepont to be a 'teaching hospital'. As part of our NETS taster package you can listen to Peter speaking about this vision and how it eventually became the NETS Programme. You will also find teachings from Peter in our Weekly Sermons section.
Fiona Horrobin. Fiona has been a key part of pioneering the work of Ellel Ministries International. From over twenty years experience of ministering into broken lives, she is passionate to see healing as integral to discipleship and Christian growth. Her most recent book Intercession and Healing teaches about the importance of intercession if we are to experience breakthrough with God in the area of healing.
Alistair Petrie. For many years in both the United Kingdom and Canada, Alistair served as senior pastor in diverse city church settings. With that experience and his earlier years spent in professional broadcasting, he now serves as the Executive Director of Partnership Ministries. Partnership Ministries is positioned as a ministry for the 21st Century Church and combines prayer and research in order to prepare Communities, Cities, Nations, and the Marketplace for lasting revival, authentic transformation and the release of Kingdom culture. He is married to Marie and along with their two sons, Mike and Richard, their entire family serve the wider church and the Marketplace in the global arena.
Jill Southern-Jones. Jill was a successful business woman before becoming the Director of Ellel Pierrepont, home of the Luke Nine Eleven Training School (NETS). The vision she was given by God can be read in more detail here. Students from all over the world come for 5 – 10 months and learn to teach and minister on NETS. Jill now travels to many different countries every year to teach Kingdom truths and to share her own personal testimony. Jill’s book, etitled Sex: God’s Truth, is an essential guide to the restoration of godly order in sexual relationships. Jill lives near Pierrepont with her husband Colin. The are many teachings from Jill available for free in our Weekly Sermons section.
Jilly Lyon-Taylor. Jilly lives not far from Pierrepont. Through serving in the local church for many years and leading discipleship groups, she began to see a tremendous need in the Body of Christ for healing, as she saw so many believers seemingly unable to move into their full inheritance as sons and daughters of God because of issues in their lives. As a result, Jilly decided to complete the NETS Programme in 2001. She is now one of the main teachers on NETS as well as teaching at other Ellel centres, and she is also part of the Leadership of Ellel Pierrepont. She balances her role at Ellel with those of being a wife, mother and grandmother. Teaching from Jilly can be found in our Weekly Sermons section.
Denise Cross. Denise has been married to David for 38 years and they have three grown up children. Denise leads the team at Glyndley Manor, the second oldest Ellel Centre in the UK. Denise originally trained as a mathematics teacher, but after a “Damascus Road” experience of the Lord Jesus in 1981, now delights to teach the Lord’s wonderfully logical truth. Her passion is to stir the hearts of believers to appropriate all the benefits of abundant life that their Heavenly Father freely offers to each of His children.
Ken Symington. Ken is a passionate speaker who always shares fantastic stories from his own life. He is often a favourite for NETS trainees. He has a desire that God's children would truly understand the heart of their Father towards them. Ken leads 'Christian Restoration for Ireland', a ministry that serves the body of Christ throughout the world by teaching and ministering into many (often difficult) subjects, as well as working with people with addictions and providing personal prayer ministry as well as prayer ministry training. Ken has taught God's people in countries such as the Ukraine, Poland, Lithuania, Russia, Hungary, USA, Australia and more. Teaching from Ken can be found in our Weekly Sermons section.
Murray Dixon. Murray served as the Rector of Christ Church, Jerusalem. Following ordination in the New Zealand Anglican Church he ministered as a parish pastor and then as an air force chaplain before pioneering Prayer for Israel in New Zealand with his wife, Rosemary. For 20 years they led prayer tours to meet the Body of Messiah in Israel and served in an itinerant teaching ministry to the Body of Christ. Murray authored The Rebirth and Restoration of Israel and Whose Promised Land?, a history textbook for secondary schools. Murray and Rosemary also produced the video series Meet the Saints in Israel. You will find a number of Murray's sermons on our Weekly Sermons page

Joe & Ruth Hawkey. Joe and Ruth have been in the teaching and healing ministry for many years. They have helped to raise and lead ministry teams in England and Canada and many other countries. Joe initially trained as an engineer and Ruth as a teacher. They were Directors of Ellel Ministries Centres in England and Canada for several years and at present are involved in training and establishing Ministry Teams in local churches, as well as teaching how to move with the Holy Spirit in order to bring people into healing and wholeness. Ruth is the author of the books, Healing the Human Spirit, Healing Emotional Wounds, and Generational and Family Blessings.
Roy Clayton. Roy got to know Jesus as a youngster and has sought to serve him in various roles during his life. He retired from a long teaching career in 1991 and joined Ellel Ministries at Pierrepont as an associate prayer minister and teacher five years later. He has enjoyed being able to teach in various Ellel centres in UK and Europe. He has been married for many years to Edith and they have been blessed with 3 grown-up children and 7 grand-children. He enjoys sharing the Truth of God’s Word with people and seeing God bring healing into lives.
Stella Walters. Stella was born in Pakistan, British India at that time, to a missionary family. She attended school and college in England, and completed her study as a medical student during the Second World War. Stella served as a medical missionary in Pakistan for eight years with the Church Mission Society. She then married a Navy man and brought up 3 sons. During the 1970’s Stella was involved in the Holy Spirit ministry of Healing which was a real fulfilment of a medical career to her. Having been around Pierrepont since its conception and the birth of NETS, Stella still contributes to the vision in both prayer ministry and teaching.
Ione Carver. As a naval daughter and then wife Ione was educated and lived in the UK, Malta, Switzerland, South Africa, and Hong Kong. She has three daughters and a multiplicity of descendants. Ione trained to work in the parish and diocese and after she and Geoffrey, her husband, received the Baptism in the Holy Spirit, they opened their home to share this joy with other couples and young people. She feels richly blessed to work for Ellel Ministries and to belong to the Pierrepont family.
