The 4 Stages
The NETS programme is made up of four stages, each of which are 10 weeks in duration.
Note: You do not have to complete all 4 stages. You may apply for just one stage if that is all your circumstances allow. However, we recommend that you attend at least stages one and two because these form a solid foundation of practical ministry training. If you only apply for one or two stages, we encourage you to come with faith that God will make a way for you to do more!
Stage 1. This provides a comprehensive foundation of training in Discipleship, Healing & Deliverance. You will learn and practically experience what it means to fulfil the Great Commission of Jesus Christ and the keys to healing that God has shown to Ellel Ministries in 20+ years of experience. In this first stage you will receive personal prayer ministry and thus be able to practically apply the keys yourself as you witness and experience God's transforming power in your own life.
Stage 2. Stage 2 builds on everything learned in the first stage, but with more opportunities to participate in prayer ministry to others with help from experienced counsellors. Some of the subjects from Stage 1 are visited again with more depth and new topics are introduced to increase and widen your understanding so that you can be more effective when you minister to people with all kinds of issues. Trainees will go on a church visit to a church in the UK and will be given the opportunity to participate in leading worship and ministering on this weekend event. At the end of stage 2 trainees hold a concert to celebrate all they have learned and experienced as well as giving testimonies at a celebration service. The testimonies given at the services are absolutely amazing as we see how powerfully God has been working in the trainees' lives - often it is clear to see the difference just by looking at their faces!
Stage 3. In this stage of NETS you will be introduced to many new topics, but most significantly you will be offered first-hand mission and teacher training experiences. Stage 3 always includes a two to three week overseas mission programme where you will put into practice everything learned in the earlier stages in both ministry and teaching. This is the Stage in which trainees really develop their giftings and are trained in the area of ministry they feel particularly called to, e.g. leadership, prayer ministry, worship, etc.
Stage 4. The final stage completes the programme and provides much more opportunity for first-hand ministry experience. You will minister at conferences, church visits, personal ministry appointments, and in other situations as they become available. This is the stage where you will be specifically mentored and helped to discover and walk in the calling God has for you individually. You will also gain first hand experience in running events and will be exposed to all that is involved in running a healing centre. Trainees who complete Stage 4 will receive a Certificate of Completion. Whilst trainees are encouraged to complete all 4 Stages in one year, it is possible to do the four stages at different times - please contact us for more details.
What exactly will I learn on NETS?! Good question - See the Teaching Topics section for a brief summary.
